Software Engineer (Python, Front Office, Prop Trading)

Sartre Group are partnered with a leading proprietary trading firm, looking to continue its investment in technology across its front-office trading environment. As part of this growth, they are looking for an exceptional Front Office Developer to join their team.This is a high-impact engineering role embedded directly within the Equities and Rates trading teams, working closely with Traders, Quants, and Technologists to build systems critical to the firm's trading operation.Market experience: Candidates should have professional experience within a financial markets or trading front office environment. Experience working with options, equities, rates or electronic trading systems would be particularly relevant.You’ll work on:Building high-performance full-stack solutions for front-office trading workflows.Working closely with Traders and Quants to understand requirements and deliver technology solutions.Integrating existing services and platforms to solve business-critical problems.Designing, developing, and supporting systems across the full development lifecycle.They’re looking for:Strong Python and/or Java development experience, with baseline knowledge of both preferred.Experience building production software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Previous experience working within Equities or Rates, ideally in a trading, financial markets, or market data environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with Traders, Quants, and Technology teams.Our client is actively hiring and interviewing, so apply now to learn more.
