Structured Cabling Installation Supervisor

CDIS, Inc. is looking for several certified Structured Cabling Installation Supervisors. The Structured Cabling Installation Supervisor position is directly responsible for the professional installation, training, demonstrating and servicing of the work throughout the Tidewater, VA area. Technical knowledge and certification is required in the areas of structured cabling, (voice, data, fiber optics, wireless) CCTV, access control and intrusion detections cabling. Professional communication and service provided to all internal and external customers, proactively ensuring a quality installation within the specifications and parameters established between the customer and CDIS, Inc. Building positive customer relationships and always representing CDIS, Inc. with integrity, and professionalism is required. Requirements: Minimum of 15 years’ experience in structured cabling (voice, data, fiber optics, wireless) , CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detections cabling preferred. Experience in terminating with various connector types, fusion splicing, and testing of fiber optics in both ISP & OSP arenas BICSI Installer / Technician certification in good standings required. Proficient knowledge of EXCEL, Word, Visio Excellent interpersonal and oral communications skills Knowledge of communications industry including voice, data, video and security. The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, which requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
