Senior Civil Site Project Manager / Project Engineer – ConnecticutExperience: 8+ years preferred Compensation: Competitive DOE Industry: Civil Engineering / Land Development / Transportation InfrastructureAn established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a client-facingPECivil Site Project Manager / Project Engineer to support and manage a wide range of civil engineering and site development projects throughout Connecticut.This individual will play a key role in project management, engineering design oversight, client coordination, and preparation/review of engineering plans and specifications.Responsibilities Manage civil/site engineering projects from concept through construction Prepare and oversee engineering plans, specifications, permitting, and technical documentation Coordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and agencies including CTDOT Review and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utility, parking lot, roadway, and land development plans Mentor junior engineering and CAD staff Participate in project meetings and public/client presentations Ability to review and ultimately seal engineering documents Requirements BS in Civil Engineering or related field PE license strongly preferred EIT candidates close to obtainingPE may be considered 8+ years of civil/site engineering experience preferred Strong understanding of engineering plans/specifications and construction documents Experience with land development, roadway, parking lot, or municipal site projects Client-facing communication and project management abilities AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred but not Needed at all Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and drafting teams Target Backgrounds / CompaniesPE to Sign DocumentsExperience from firms such as:AECOM Weston & Sampson BL Companies Luchs Consulting Engineers BETA Group Lorello Associates SLR Consulting McLaren Engineering Group
