Quality Engineer
Location: San Jose, CATravel Required: Up to 25%, domestic and international.JOB SUMMARY:Foxconn Interconnect Technology seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to develop and implement systems to ensure products or services are designed and produced to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.Quality Engineer should have fundamental understanding of whole quality system and its development, documentation, and implementation with respect to domestic and international standards or requirements.Solve problems and understand quality improvement tools and techniques. This includes planning tools, quality tools, preventative, and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvements.Quality Engineer must be able to analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate process analysis and improvements.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering is preferred. If other majors require intensive quality work experience in the pass.0-8 years of quality engineering or related job experience in connectors, cable assemblies, or similar electro-mechanical devices, passive components.Be familiar with Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Able to report process capability and process performance through statistical measurements of CPK.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with Asia factory teams to understand customer requirements.Know ISO quality management system and IPC standards.Must be initiative-taking and able to perform assignments independently.Collaborate with external customers and internal cross-function teams with excellent communication and handling skills.Fluent English language skills, Mandarin is a plusFoxconn Interconnect Technology, Inc.
