SALES EXECUTIVE

Sales ConsultantBlueStreet Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. BlueStreet has been providing world-class financial products and services, which include financial consulting, back-office services, Deltek system implementations, and reporting tools for government contractors for over 16 years. The candidate must be a self-starter and team player who is ready to take on new initiatives and innovations in a fast-paced environment. As part of our growing organization, the Sales Consultant has a basic knowledge of the Government Contractors market and has finance and/or accounting background. Previous sales experience is desirable. This person will be proactive in managing a sales cycle, from first contact to closure and be the first point of contact for new business through market outreach.Responsibilities/Duties:The sale consultant is responsible for the identification and closing of new clients and expansion at existing clientsThis role requires a blend of direct sales, business development acumen and expertiseIdentify and secure new target clients and maintain a strict cadence to drive revenueFocus on lead generation and top of funnel activities to drive leads and opportunities to sell BlueStreet solutionsManage and report on targets / KPI's, actively tracking sales pipeline to measure success of the to meet / exceed quarterly and annual quotas through Hub SpotManage a funnel of both pre-award and post award opportunities to achieve sales quota targetEvangelize BlueStreet as a company and its solutionsDevelop plan for prospecting new clientsManage pipeline from introduction to closureProvide weekly pipeline reports to managementManage customer experience from sales process to post closureSkilled in developing proposalsContinue to learn and understand challenges facing the GovCon industryQualifications:A Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in finance or businessDetailed knowledge of the government contractor industry is preferredMinimum 1-2 years' experience working in a sales type roleNative or full fluency in EnglishUnderstands how to manage a sales process from prospecting to closureOrganized and detailed focusExcellent communication and presentation skills, combined with skills of teaching othersReady to travel local 10-25% of your timeAnalytical / problem solving skillsWell organizedA positive energetic, "can-do" attitude is a must.
