Software Engineer II - Java, Spring, AWS, CI/CD
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer II - Java, Spring, AWS, CI/CD to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable software solutions that support critical healthcare operations. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to turn ideas into reliable code, strengthen technical design, and help ensure solutions are maintainable and well-documented. The position also offers exposure to event-driven systems, cloud services, and core application subsystems in a collaborative Agile environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $121,000 – $191,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions Translate ideas into high-quality code under senior guidance Contribute to technical design and documentation Collaborate with team and cross-functional partners to resolve dependencies Identify and analyze limited-scope issues independently Follow best practices for Agile development and testing Develop understanding of rules subsystems and their interactions
Qualifications:
2-3 years of software development experience BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 2+ years with Java and J2EE technologies, including Spring and Maven Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, and Lambda Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL Exposure to rules engines and event-driven architecture Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
