Job Title: Plaintiff Employment AttorneyType of Position: Full Time (Hybrid/ Remote/ On-site)Salary Range: $150,000 - $300,000 per yearHours: Monday - Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.At Law Brothers, located in Beverly Hills, California, we are passionate about advocating for individuals harmed by unlawful workplace practices. We are seeking a seasoned Plaintiff Employment Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong litigation and/or advisory background, extensive knowledge of California’s complex employment statutes and regulations, and the ability to navigate fast-changing compliance requirements. This role requires a commitment to representing employees with integrity, tenacity, and compassion, along with excellent advocacy and legal judgment.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent employees in a broad range of California employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and wage and hour claimsHandle all phases of employment litigation, including case evaluation, drafting pleadings, written discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparationLitigate complex wage and hour matters, including class actions and PAGA representative actionsAdvocate for clients before administrative agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department (CRD), Labor Commissioner/DLSE, and EEOCConduct client intake meetings and provide compassionate, strategic counsel to employees navigating workplace disputesDraft demand letters, complaints, motions, settlement agreements, and other employment-related legal documentsCollaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop litigation strategies and maximize client outcomesStay current on developments in California employment law, labor code updates, and relevant court decisionsQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the California State BarMinimum of 2 years of California employment law experience, preferably on the plaintiff sideStrong knowledge of California labor and employment laws, including FEHA, FLSA, CFRA/FMLA, ADA, PAGA, and wage and hour regulationsExperience handling employment litigation matters from pre-litigation through resolutionExcellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal, client-communication, and relationship-building skillsWhat we do for youHighly competitive pay.Unlimited opportunities for growth and advancement.9 additional paid holidays.Team outings and sponsored events.401K.PPO medical insuranceGreat dental, vision, and life insurance programs.
