Apply today and start your career at Borealis Mine located south west of Hawthorne NV.Essential Responsibilities:Support mining operations by performing various tasks on the labor crewComplete production reporting and other required documentationCommunicate effectively and professionally with team membersLead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and proceduresQualifications:Previous mining experience is preferred but not requiredAwareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies (preferred not required)Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if needed)Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testWork Conditions:Varying shift rotation working 10 to 12 hours per dayOvertime rates apply after 40 hours worked per weekSite based position with the opportunity for long term employmentLiving out allowance provided for every day workedHealth & wellness benefits provided along with 401K matchingAdditional InformationLedcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
