Branch ISD Special EducationThe Branch ISD Special Education Department serves students pre-K to age 26 with mild to severe impairments and works closely with the local schools in Branch County to provide: instructional services, hearing and vision services, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychological, and nursing services. The special education department is devoted to the success of every student. If you are highly motivated and have a passion to work with students with disabilities, this position is for you.Job SummaryThe employee fulfilling this job is accountable to the Special Education Supervisor and will utilize a variety of strategies and approaches to meet the cognitive needs of students. Expectations include a pleasant and professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and a friendly outgoing personality. The employee must also maintain confidentiality and engage in professional development as required by the State of Michigan.Qualifications/EducationThe ideal candidate must have a desire to work with students with various disabilities. Applicant must hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist certification; Ed.S. Degree or equivalent in School Psychology. This position is also open to School Psychologist Interns willing to accept a full-time position.Position open until filled.Please See The Attached Job Description For Additional Information.Salary range is from $56,893 - $$88,753 (contingent on yrs. of experience and days of contract).Position open until filled.This is a full-time position with summers optional.Health insurance available immediately upon hire.Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.State of Michigan School Retirement Plan
