Technical Product Manager

Works with other Technology areas to make tactical decisions about product functionality. Manages projects that consist of a single development team. Propose and manage demand for application work. Manages projects through all phases and milestones. Manages product feature/capability set for business solutions. Performs market and competitor analysis. Authors product requirement documents (PDDs) and technical specs to support engineering handoff and stakeholder alignment. Scopes and manages partner-facing API and system-to-system integrations, coordinating with external technical teams through delivery. Translates technical tradeoffs into business impact for non-technical stakeholders. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Experience: 3-4 years' relevant experience; experience with partner/vendor integrations or vertical SaaS strongly preferred.Education: Must meet one of the following requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college) Associate's Degree in a Technical Field Certification in relevant focus area Preferred: Experience in insurance, animal health, or another regulated/compliance-heavy vertical.Level Specific ResponsibilitiesCreates and manages product roadmaps Works with Marketing to determine advertising strategy for products Analyzes metrics and measures product performance; comfortable working with data engineering to validate reporting accuracy Manages larger projects that may consist of more than one development team Works with platform development vendors and internal cross-functional partners (Design, Legal, Data, Engineering) to provide technical management.
