Account Executive - WinCo, Northwest

As a member of our sales team, you’ll work closely with Johnsonville’s marketing and category management teams to develop and deliver consumer insights and category reviews that help our customers succeed. You’ll also work with our broker partners to ensure sales strategies are fully and effectively executed, from headquarters to retail stores.Position OverviewJohnsonville offers the highest quality products throughout the U.S. and international markets. We have a great opportunity to join our sales organization as an Account Executive supporting management of our broker network and the WinCo and Northwest regional and wholesale customers: Associated Foods, URM, Sherm’s, UNFI NW, and Western Box Meat to name a few. You will be able to impact the success of the sales team through leadership and management of the Northwest territory. This role will be a vital contributor in developing selling strategies and delivering actionable insights to maximize customer sales.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for key accounts within the Northest regional and wholesale customers and the three-year vision for WinCo Run your own marketplace, selling and managing sales of multiple product linesDevelop and build relationships throughout your customers’ organizations, including those in key strategic decision-making positions at headquarter levelDevelop and build relationships with retail partners across merchandising, sourcing, replenishment, and private label teams, along with other strategic decision-makers at the retail home officeEnsure that all authorized items, across all Johnsonville categories, are in distribution at retail storesDevelop and manage broker relationshipsWork cross-functionally with Johnsonville’s Category Insights, Marketing, and Innovation teams to deliver actionable, data-driven, and consumer-relevant content for use in sales solicitationGrow market share by using fact-based selling, and innovative programs and promotionsEducationBachelor's degree, requiredExperienceMinimum of three (3) years’ consumer packaged goods sales experience in the retail grocery industry requiredSales experience in the Mid-Atlantic marketplace or Military channel preferredProven experience building new and existing relationships with key customers required, including those in key strategic decision-making positions at headquarter levelExperience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Spectra, Consumer Insights, etc.) preferredDirect experience in food sales is a definite plusExperience with grass roots marketing and/or co-marketingBroker Management and/or Broker experience preferredSkillsCareer motivated-open to relocate for future opportunities within the company desiredSuperior strategic and tactical business planning skillsExcellent communication skills including negotiation and presentation skillsTeam skills--ability to share ideas, work with and assist other members to ensure the success of the teamProficiency in computer technologies (Excel, PowerPoint, Word; willingness to learn SAP)Potential to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibilityOther RequirementsAbility and willingness to travel 35-40% of the timeBenefits And CompensationMembers have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.
