Floor Crew - FT - SS

DescriptionMay be required to drive company vehicle and meet insurance carrier requirements.THIS POSITION WORKS OVERNIGHT.Primary Function:Employee is responsible for cleaning, stripping, and refinishing hard floors as well as shampooing carpets within but not limited to Goodwill Properties. Employees are also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. Essential Functions:Observes proper safety precautions in use of equipment and suppliesMaintain a clean work area and perform duties in an efficient mannerWorks with all cleaning chemicals in a safe mannerWork a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as necessaryVacuum and shampoo rugs and carpetsDust mop, sweep, and wet mopStrip and refinish hard floors Touch up baseboards, corners, doorways, and glass with appropriate toolsMeet or exceed the attendance expectations for this positionActively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional wellbeing of employees, customers and participants.Personally participate in ongoing cross training opportunities, education and development as well as supporting others in their efforts to develop.Interacts with coworkers and government personnel in a friendly and courteous mannerEducate customers and the community about the mission and vision of the organization.Demonstrate the Goodwill core values through actions and words.Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality recordOther duties as assignedSupervisor may assign a staff member in a role of Crew Lead responsible for directing the team on the job siteCompetencies:Clear Communication*World Class Customer Service*Understanding Diverse Needs*Protecting the Brand*Handling Multiple TasksRequirements:Must be able to work effectively in a secure, confidential area Must be able to perform assigned cleaning tasks as per contract standardsMust be able to understand and follow training instructionsAbility to maintain working relationship with supervisor and co-workersMust be able to work as part of a team in a variety of settingsInteracts with coworkers and government personnel in a friendly and courteous mannerMust Pass TSA security clearance when applicableMust be screened for verifiable disabilities when applicableMust provide any additional medical records needed when applicableConsent to random drug screenings quarterlyQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand, stoop and bend while liftingMust be able to push a mop bucket weighing up to 50 poundsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25 poundsTypical Work Environment:The typical work environment is always different.
