We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide ongoing ED call coverage and inpatient support in Pennsylvania. This opportunity includes emergency department call, floor consults, surgical cases, and post-operative follow-up at a community hospital setting. Coverage Details Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (24-hour call) Estimated 8 shifts per month Coverage blocks typically scheduled one week at a time Flexible scheduling options available for weekday and weekend coverage Average admissions while on call: 3 4 Adult patient mix: 95% Pediatric patient mix: 5% EMR: Epic Typical Cases Hip fractures Ankle fractures I&D procedures General orthopedic consults ED surgical cases and follow-up Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC in hand DEA required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of experience
