Physical Therapist - $67/hr

Job Summary (Physical Therapist):- Plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients regain physical function following accidents, surgery, or illness.- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with movement dysfunction and pain, including those with degenerative conditions or terminal diseases.- Consult with patients to understand their physical condition, symptoms, and medical history.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.- Provide hands-on therapy (e.g., massage, manipulation) and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and stretches.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (including speech and physical therapists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.- Communicate progress and status updates to family members, providers, and care committees.- Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver care with sensitivity to developmental and sociocultural backgrounds.- Foster teamwork by working closely with other care providers and participating in problem solving and conflict resolution.- Attend ongoing professional development activities, including in-services, continuing education, and departmental meetings.- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.- Work setting is predominantly outpatient (90%), with some inpatient responsibilities (10%).Required Qualifications:- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.- Current state Physical Therapist license.- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.- Experience working with patients in long-term care or hospital settings.- Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.- Ability to provide age-appropriate, satisfactory patient care and work effectively as part of a team.
