You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing key database operations, collaborating with a talented team in a fast-paced setting, and making a tangible impact on how the company serves its customers.Required Skills and Education:At least 10 years of experience managing and administering mainframe databases, including tools, facilities, and techniquesProficiency with current Mainframe DB2 and IMS management systemsExperience with IMS Managed ACBs preferredStrong knowledge of database design methodologies, data modeling, and relational database conceptsSkilled in SQL, stored procedures, functions, and creating database objectsExtensive experience with IMS and DB2 utilities, with BMC Software utilities being a plusBackground in incident, problem, and change management in an operational/support roleExperience monitoring Mainframe Infrastructure and Databases, preferably with BMC AMI Ops (“Mainview”)Excellent technical, analytical, and leadership skillsClear communication skills, both verbal and writtenPreferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 10 years relevant mainframe database management experienceThis is your chance to become an integral part of a forward-thinking team, leveraging your expertise to influence large-scale database management and operations.
