Massage Therapist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities - Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of tension and pain, including conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories as needed. - Develop and implement personalized massage therapy treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals. - Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve range of motion. - Provide acute pain management and other therapeutic modalities as required. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, including treatment plans and progress notes. - Stay current with advances in massage therapy, anatomy, and physiology to continuously improve patient care. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Demonstrate excellent patient service skills, including communication, empathy, and professionalism. - Perform massage therapy services in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Qualifications - Current licensure or certification in massage therapy. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as massage therapy, occupational health, or physical therapy. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Experience with acute pain management and trigger point therapy. - Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans. - Excellent patient service skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Certification in specialized massage modalities, such as sports massage or prenatal massage, is preferred.
