Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our client, a global medical device company in Fort Worth.Job Title: Associate Scientist (Contract)Pay Rate: $36.23/hr (W-2)Duration: 12 months with possible extension40 hours/week, Mon-FriSummary: Seeking an Associate Scientist to support analytical chemistry and materials characterization projects within a research and development environment. This role will focus on designing and executing experiments, analyzing scientific data, and supporting research initiatives while ensuring compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards.Responsibilities:- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to support research and development activities- Perform chromatography and material characterization testing- Analyze and interpret experimental data to support project objectives- Document results and maintain accurate technical records- Collaborate with cross-functional scientific teams on research initiatives- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical methods and scientific processesRequired Qualifications:- Chromatography techniques- Material physical characterization- Scientific data analysis- Strong laboratory documentation and analytical problem-solving skills
