Marketing Coordinator

DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Community Outreach/Marketing CoordinatorEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two-years' experience. Experience in marketing, graphic design, community outreach, events planning, and/or related communications fields.SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of marketing basicsKnowledge of and experience in graphic designKnowledge of WordPress, website design and upkeep a plusKnowledge of social media platforms and content creationEffective communication skillsActively participate in community activities/fairs/events to promote CRSOKInteract knowledgeably with the outside community and partner organizationsExcellent computer skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and consistently accomplish duties with limited supervision• Ability to communicate clearly to interact with staff, clients, administration, and the community both in person and on the telephone.Knowledge of philanthropic communityKnowledge of community resources and opportunitiesExperience in behavioral health and substance use field a plusAbility to handle multiple projects, manage deadline pressure and translate program-specific information clearlyRequires a high level of independent planning, judgment and problem-solving skillsAble to work a flexible schedule based on community events, including evenings and weekendsMust provide own transportation• Current Oklahoma Driver's License neededDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with Director of Marketing and Clinical Business Development Representative on creation and maintenance of marketing and outreach plansOutreach and engage the community with the programs and services of CRSOKAssist with agency's engagement based/outreach planResponsible for management and development of monthly events, compose and maintain annual calendar of events, facilitate events, and manage outreach attendanceCoordinate the distribution of agency marketing materials in the communityManage and complete internal marketing requests and designEstablish and maintain positive, productive working relationships with community partners and referral sourcesAttend community meetings as a representative of CRSOK, when appropriateBe familiar with CRSOK programs and servicesWork closely with department directors and staff to obtain dates and details for meetings and eventsAssist with management of marketing efforts and social media platformsSupport and promote a service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives.Practice and promote the Sanctuary model seven commitments (nonviolence, emotional intelligence, social learning, open communication, social responsibility, democracy and growth and change), SELF, and Tools.OTHER DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and the Chief Philanthropy and Marketing Officer.Physical Requirements: Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, lifting 25 pounds, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs.Required Training:New Hire OrientationAnnual HarassmentAnnual Workplace ViolenceAnnual Safety & Fire TrainingAnnual Diversity TrainingAnnual HIV TrainingAnnual HIPAA and Confidentiality TrainingHIPAA: This position has no need to access consumer information.REPORTS TO: Director of MarketingSUPERVISES: NoneEMPLOYMENT STATUS: Exempt
