CDL A Driver

Job Description Position OverviewWe are hiring a dependable, safety-first CDL-A Driver to join our Operations team full-time. This role is responsible for operating both company-owned and rental trucks (CDL and non-CDL) to transport materials to and from job sites and other locations.To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.If you take pride in safe driving, staying organized, and being part of a team that gets the job done, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities· Drive trucks to and from assigned destinations· Operate both company-owned and rental vehicles (CDL and non-CDL)· Maintain truck and driver logs in accordance with state and federal regulations· Maintain phone/radio contact with Logistics to receive delivery instructions· Shuttle to and from job sites with and without trailers· Assist with loading and unloading as needed· Take all necessary steps to load/unload in approved areas to avoid ticketing· Inspect truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water, etc.) and report issues to the Logistics Manager· Ensure all cargo is properly and safely secured for transport· Refuel vehicle before returning it to the warehouse· Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsValid CDL Class A license· Ability to safely operate trucks and trailers in a job site environment· Ability to follow DOT regulations and company safety standards· Strong communication skills and reliability· Clean driving record (as required by company and insurance guidelines)Pay & Schedule· $27–$34/hour (based on experience)· Full-time position· Start date: Immediate· Overtime may be available based on business needsCompany DescriptionNew York Tent has been producing tented events since 1994.
