Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe IT Director is responsible for leading the organization's technology strategy, infrastructure, and IT operations. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and management of IT systems to ensure security, efficiency, and alignment with business goals. The IT Director manages IT staff, vendors, and enterprise-wide technology initiatives. This position is on-site in Meridian, MS.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipStrategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the organization's IT strategy in support of business objectivesAdvise executive leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunitiesLead long-term planning for IT growth, modernization, and scalabilityIT Operations & InfrastructureOversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user supportEnsure high availability and performance of all technology systemsEstablish IT policies, procedures, and best practicesCybersecurity & Risk ManagementMaintain strong cybersecurity posture through monitoring, controls, and complianceLead incident response planning and disaster recovery strategiesTeam ManagementManage and mentor IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluationFoster a collaborative and service-oriented IT cultureAssign resources to projects and operational needsCost & Vendor ManagementNegotiate and oversee vendor contracts, software licensing, and service agreementsEvaluate and implement cost-effective technology solutionsProject & Systems ImplementationLead major technology projects such as ERP rollouts, cloud migrations, and system upgradesCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project successMonitor timelines, deliverables, and outcomesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systemsExperience managing cybersecurity and compliance initiativesProven ability to lead teams and manage complex IT projectsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or MBAExperience in Manufacturing ERP environmentsBackground in cloud architecture and digital transformationKey Skills & CompetenciesStrategic planning and technology leadershipStrong communication and stakeholder managementCybersecurity awareness and risk mitigationVendor negotiation and contract oversightProblem-solving and decision-making under pressureWorking ConditionsFull-time, on-siteAvailability for after-hours support during critical incidentsBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
