Building Opportunities for a Better LifeThe SALES CONSULTANT position presents exterior remodeling projects to homeowners within their homes. 120-days paid training prepares the Sales Consultant to parlay into a successful commission-based position. Appointments are provided and pre-scheduled with repeat customers, referrals, and new customers. The Sales Consultant determines the customer’s objectives and needs to formulate remodeling proposals, clearly communicating project details and pricing to close the contract. The Sales Consultant executes the order and communicates project details to the production and installation teams via the company’s order processing system. Additional education in position related courses preferred.One to three years’ sales experience requiredComfortable with a commission-only compensation structure following an initial paid training periodProven ability to meet Sales minimums of $75,000.00 per month or $150,000.00 in any 2-month periodProven ability to meet closing percentage minimums of 25%Basic knowledge of Residential construction with home building or remodeling company a plusMotivated and goal-orientated drive to exceed personal and company expectationsSolid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management skills, and strong problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsDependable, reliable, and has a strong work ethicValid Driver’s LicensePhysical And Mental RequirementsStanding and sitting for extended periods of timeLifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent mannerAbility to easily move throughout an EXO office, home office, customer’s home or jobsite with easeAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishAbility to effectively interact with others internally and externallyAbility to utilize office equipment in a safe and prudent manner, including a copy machine, fax machine, computer, telephone, and other general office equipment that may be used regularlyAbility to work with many different personalitiesAbility and comfort in using navigation resources while driving on company business to visit customersAbility to travel up to 75% of the time between home/office and customer homes/ job sitesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCorrectable vision and hearingThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and the employee may also be asked to perform other reasonably related job duties as assigned.
