Submittals sent without above statement will not be accepted.Job DescriptionDesign and develop test cases/scenarios for all types of testing (usability, regression, functional, integration, performance, UAT and unit). Support the test lead in authoring test plans. Analyze business requirements and engage Test Lead and project team on issues that may impact designing a testable solution. Conduct test execution and prepare reports on test progress and regression. Raise issues, risks and dependencies and identify assumptions. Defect and issue identification, logging, tracking, resolution and reporting. Executes manual test cases and develops and initiates automated test scripts and creates and manages any resulting defects.Project DescriptionThe IT Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Customer Engagement department supports, manages and implements a portfolio of IT system capital initiatives with our Customer Operations, Energy Management and Energy Efficiency business partners. This IT team supports each initiative from conception to implementation and provides the necessary IT support required to either enhance existing systems, create or enhance interfaces and or design, develop, test and implement new applications. The Customer Engagement Capital Portfolio Team is looking for a Test Lead with strong communications skills, to work within existing IT teams to help foster relationships, facilitate and coordinate standard project operations and support and drive excellence.Role & ResponsibilitiesDrive the testing efforts and participates in the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)Verify the quality of the requirements, including testability, requirements definition, test design, test-script and test-data development, test automation test-environment configuration, test-script configuration management, and test executionTest planning, including development of testing goals and strategyEducate customers and project team about User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Provide training and mentoring to the Test TeamInteraction with test-tool vendor to identify best ways to leverage test tool on the projectStaying current on latest test approaches and tools, and transferring this knowledge to the test teamReview and validate test results and defect reports by the testersFacilitate meetings with stakeholders throughout the testing processCreate summary reports and communicate defect metrics on a daily and weekly basisSchedule and lead daily defect meetings and other meetings as required with stakeholdersManage the triage process for defects including assignments to Development and coordinating ownership and resolutionCoordinate and follow up with Development Leads and Testers on defect fix estimates and retesting estimatesMaintain the Test Traceability Matrix (tracing the test procedures to the test requirements)Coordinate Intake Process/Close out Process (e.g. Lessons Learned) for all projects including securing stakeholder (PM and Customer sign off) and that all testing documentationCollaborate with the Project Manager or Project Lead regarding the Integrated Change Control Process for change requests during the testing phaseTechnical SkillsMust Have Ability to react/produce in an Agile project atmosphere basic functional testing develop functional test cases experience in Azure DevOps Test Plans
