Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is a key leader working in conjunction with the Assistant Manager to meet that goal. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for people development and the overall warehouse and delivery operations. This role has a broad range of responsibility in store operations and reports directly to the Assistant Manager.Some of the functions the Warehouse Manager will perform:Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own ItAssists in the hiring, training and retaining of high quality team members who exhibit our valuesPartners with Assistant Manager to ensure a deep talent bench by continuously developing internal talent and attracting external talentLeads warehouse team to ensure highest level of customer service standards are executed in home deliveriesProvides feedback and innovative ideas to supervisor on building a more profitable warehouse operationEnsures proper execution of best practices related to delivery preparation and processAssists in managing warehouse payroll within budgeted guidelinesOversees unloading/loading of inbound and outbound merchandiseIncreases completion of home delivery rate by utilizing best practices RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have among other skills and abilities:Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of warehouse, delivery or distribution leadership experienceAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team membersAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsProven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain best in class talentProficient in business related technology systemsTrack record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals firstOwners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility while still empowering others to do the sameEmbody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the jobProactive approach; identifies and solves problemsAdaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting prioritiesExperience managing change in large and complex environmentsAbility to break down complex ideas and communicate them in simple and easy to understand waysDemonstrated ability to coach and develop others to higher levels of performanceDemonstrated ability to drive results in a leadership roleDesire to continuously improve
