We show up for each other, work hard, play hard, and put our whole hearts into what we do.WHAT YOU’LL DO:The Content Creator will support Made by Mary’s social content efforts by creating engaging, social-first short-form content that supports product launches, photoshoots, activations, brand storytelling, and ongoing community engagement across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.We’re looking for someone who understands social media culture, has strong creative instincts, and knows how to create content that feels native, engaging, emotional, trend-aware, and aligned with the Made by Mary brand.This role is highly collaborative and works closely with our Producer, Brand Manager, and Marketing team to help bring launches, campaigns, shoots, and events to life through social-first storytelling.DELIVERABLES & EXPECTATIONS:Ongoing Social ContentCreate approximately 5–6 TikToks per weekCapture and deliver short-form social content that supports launches, campaigns, products, and brand storytellingCreate content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube ShortsProduct Launch SupportCreate approximately 2 strong edited videos per product launch/dropContent may include:UGC-style contentemotional storytellingtrend-based conceptsbehind-the-scenes momentsfounder/team contentproduct-focused storytellingPhotoshoots, Events & ActivationsAttend photoshoots, launches, pop-ups, activations, and other content-related events as neededCapture behind-the-scenes and social-first content during shoots and eventsHelp identify real-time social content opportunities during launches, campaigns, and activationsOccasional travel may be required for activations, events, and campaignsCollaboration & CommunicationParticipate in weekly marketing and creative sync meetingsStay active and responsive in Slack and collaborate closely with the team on upcoming launches, shoots, and content opportunitiesContribute ideas related to trends, storytelling, social content, and platform-native creative executionWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video cultureExperience creating engaging social-first content for brands or personal platformsStrong video editing instincts and storytelling abilitySomeone with strong creative taste and a good eye for content that feels elevated, emotionally resonant, and platform-nativeTrend-aware, collaborative, proactive, and highly creativeComfortable working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environmentsInterest in fashion, jewelry, beauty, lifestyle, and digital cultureComfortable occasionally appearing on camera if neededWHAT THIS ROLE INCLUDES:This retainer is intended to cover:Ongoing content creationEditing and social deliverablesShoot and event attendanceWeekly meetings and collaborationSlack communication and creative participationTrend research and content ideationLaunch and campaign supportThis role is intended to serve as a collaborative external creative partner supporting the Made By Mary marketing and creative process while maintaining an independent contractor relationship.This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is not eligible for employee benefits. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, and related business expenses.This project-based role supports ongoing creative and marketing initiatives, and deliverables or scheduling needs may evolve based on business priorities, launches, and campaign timing.Made By Mary reserves the right to modify or discontinue the engagement at any time based on business needs.
