Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s) • Must be willing to float to other departments as needed • 2 years of nursing experience required • Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation provided) • Cerner EMR experience required • Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance • Black scrubs required per dress code policy • NIH certification not required but recommended • Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care Facility: This medical center operates a 38-bed emergency department that maintains Trauma Level III certification along with Stroke Receiving and STEMI Receiving designations.
