Job Title: PL/SQL Developer (Healthcare Applications)Location: RemoteWhat's in it for you?As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be part of an Agile team focused on building healthcare applications and implementing new features while adhering to the highest coding and development standards.ResponsibilitiesSummary:Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs.Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity, operating time, and desired results.Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.Work at the highest technical level across all phases of application systems analysis activities.Ideal CandidateResponsible for Java-based integrations using Oracle PL/SQL to extract data from back-end transactional systems.Manage break/fix operational support as well as new development and enhancements with limited supervision.Handle all phases of the software lifecycle, focusing on Java and SQL design, development, and performance tuning.Detailed ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced support for defining and refining business requirements and quality assurance/acceptance testing efforts.Design, develop, test, and debug software components of moderate to high complexity.Provide implementation, production, and upgrade support for software components of moderate to high complexity.Act as a liaison between the application team and the user community, facilitating communication, coordinating system enhancements, and providing production support.Work with the user community to define business requirements in sufficient detail and define business use cases for system configuration, development/enhancement, and operations activities.Manage the development of user and technical documentation according to department standards.Educational QualificationsEngineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.SkillsMandatory Skills:Health plan knowledge with an emphasis on claims operations, financial reconciliation, provider networks, claims management systems, data hubs, and data governance.Experience with ETL processes using data hubs, Operational Data Store (ODS), JSON, CSV, and EDI transaction standards.Good To Have Skills4+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, packages, triggers, and views for programming, development, and production support.Experience with production operations support working on multiple, parallel projects.Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Health Information Technology, or a related field of study.
