WelderLocation: Windsor, CT 06095 Pay Rate: $20.15/hr on W2 Shift: 1st shift 8 AM to 5 PM Mon to FriWelder Duties:Prepare the weld joints per instruction in traveler.Perform the weld by manual TIG or CNC TIG welder or EB welder.Weld certain operations on different components.Belt sand preparation of parts.Inspection of tools.Documenting travelers after operations performed.General department housekeeping.Maintain production standards/quality.Regular attendance and punctuality.Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment, as required.Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.Quals:Ability to accurately interpret blueprintsAbility to accurately interpret work in-process documentsKnowledge of welding procedures and processesGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong Computer skills requiredSelf-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountabilityLean skills continually drives process improvementsTeam building skillsMust be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writingHigh School diploma or equivalentCertified to WD-001Ability to pass a reading testAbility to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English.
