Now Hiring: Development / Research Engineer Mossville, IL (Onsite) 12-Month Contract First Shift | Flexible Core Hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) $39 - $41 an hrWe are seeking a hands-on Development / Research Engineer to lead hydraulic testing projects from planning through conclusion in a dynamic engineering environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge hydraulic and fluid power technologies while collaborating with engineers, lab personnel, and internal stakeholders on innovative product development initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLead hydraulic component and system testing projects from setup through final analysis and reporting.Plan, execute, and document mechanical and hydraulic testing activities.Analyze test data and provide conclusions and recommendations.Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical systems, equipment, and components.Investigate equipment failures and diagnose mechanical issues.Review specifications, design proposals, and technical documentation to determine project feasibility.Support product development efforts by assisting with engineering drawings, designs, and technical documentation.Collaborate closely with lab managers, test leads, shop personnel, and engineering teams.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.5+ years of engineering experience (3+ years with a Master's degree).Strong hands-on mechanical experience.Experience with data analysis and failure analysis.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Organized, customer-focused, and able to work effectively with both engineers and shop personnel.Preferred QualificationsExperience with hydraulics, fluid power systems, or component testing.Test development and validation experience.CAD software experience.Project management experience.Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting expertise.#INDOEM
