Job Description CNC Machinist Set Up1st Shift Monday – Friday6:00am – 2:30pm$20 - $25 per hour DOEJob DutiesSet up and operate one or more of a variety of CNC MachinesTroubleshoot CNC issues as they may be related to set-up as necessaryUse a variety of hand inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.Notify the supervisor of any operations problemsStudy work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces and machining parametersRequirementsTechnical, BOCES, or high school graduate with experience in blueprint reading, using measuring instruments, and manual or CNC machine center operation or equivalent3 years' experience setting up CNC Machines, preferably horizontal milling machinesAbility to read prints, diagrams and use micrometer, verniers, calipers and gaugesStrong attention to detailApply now for consideration!
