Teaching Assistant for 4th grade

JOB POSTING 25-26-61 POSITION: 6.75 hour Teacher Assistant 4th grade @ Cardinal Elementary (Monday-Friday; 7:50am-3:05pm; School Year Only) RATE OF PAY: $16.30 QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEACHER ASSISTANT/ HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT: Teacher Assistants shall report and be directly responsible to the assigned teacher(s) as approved by the administrator. They will be responsible to follow the teacher’s directives and be involved with the students, monitoring progress, data/record keeping, and reinforcing the lessons and/or activities, or as deemed appropriate by position. Must be Highly Qualified per Department of Education in order to apply for this position. Skills Required: Have obtained associates degree, 60 credit hours or have taken the ETS assessment (score of 460 or higher) Basic First Aid/CPR Behavioral Management Experience working with children Basic Computer Operations/Use of office equipment Basic Communication Skills Basic Writing/Grammar Skills Record Keeping Lifting
