Environmental Protection SpecialistThe Opportunity:Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting government facilities. Perform analysis on the drafting of policy statements, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles, and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations affecting the government. Develop and review environmental compliance and management plans. Provide technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct environmental compliance inspections, audits, and evaluations as directed by the government to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Update and monitor environmental regulatory permits held by the government and develop and conduct environmental compliance training for government employees and contractors. Review NEPA documentation and provide facilities' project managers advice on NEPA applicability. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
