Active LinkedIn with photo is requiredOnly genuine visaW2 onlyJava Developer/Full Stack - 166 - Location: Boston, Jersey City, Tampa (Boston preferred) (Hybrid 3 days/week) 12 months CTHTEMP TO PERM - NO SPONSORSHIP!!Job Description:Your Primary Responsibilities:• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of applications.• Work with Business System Analysts and senior engineers to understand functional and non functional requirements.• Assist with implementing application designs that align with technology standards and best practices.• Participate in performance analysis and tuning activities to help identify and resolve application issues.• Support deployment and runtime activities by collaborating with Infrastructure and Platform teams.• Follow established risk management and control practices; identify and escalate issues as appropriate.• Apply Agile and iterative development practices to deliver features and enhancements.• Develop application components and services under guidance from senior engineers and technical leads.• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and compliance with functional requirements.• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.• Collaborate with peers to improve development practices, automation, and continuous integration processes.Qualifications:• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience.• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Skills Required:Core Development• Experience designing and developing applications using Enterprise Java.• Working knowledge of application security, transactional processing, and resilient system design.• Hands on experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.• Familiarity with build and dependency management tools such as Maven.Messaging, Streaming & Caching• Exposure to event driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.• Experience or familiarity with Redis for caching or data access.• Understanding of basic caching strategies using Redis or Spring Cache.Data & Persistence• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Aurora PostgreSQL.• Familiarity with database migration tools such as Liquibase.• Understanding of SQL performance and basic data modeling concepts.Cloud, Containers & DevOps• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS).• Exposure to containerized applications using Docker.• Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift concepts.• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test processes.
