Senior Engineer- SAP

SAP Basis Consultant Must Have Technical/Functional Skills• Be part of a high performing team of SAP Basis Netweaver specialists to design, install, configure, monitor and maintain the SAP S4 HANA system landscape, whilst ensuring high availability, optimal performance and overall data security and integrity. • SAP Operational Support: • Monitor, update and maintain the SAP Application, database, environments and interfaces, ensuring they are simple, cost effective and operationally efficient, whilst supporting our business needs. • Ensure environments are kept in synch and documented with changes across Operational Support and Change Delivery. • Manage incidents to conclusion, working with teams across Sky to identify and resolve issues across the platform efficiently. • System Administration: • Conduct regular housekeeping and system administration tasks, for optimal system performance and availability, including Backups, monitoring and predictive alerts, database maintenance (HANA), System exports, copies and restores, data archival tasks, batch job scheduling and maintenance, and component specific maintenance. • Plan, review and implement SAP Patches, support packages and notes. Work with SAP to resolve bugs in the platform. • Ensure good quality user roles and authorization setup and maintenance, as per agreed SLA. • Conduct transports according to relevant protocols, with appropriate documentation. • Deep technical knowledge and experience of SAP ECC, SAP PO, SAP VIM, SAP JAVA, SAP SLD, SAP Business Objects, SAP Solution manager, SAP Web dispatcher, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), OpenText Business Capture Centre (BCC), OpenText Archive Centre (AC). • Experience of supporting applications on Windows 2019 and Linux RHEL. • 10+ years experience as an SAP Basis expert in an application lifecycle development project, or operational support. Ideally with more than two SAP end to end implementation projects. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Interested in current and future technology opportunities to improve our operational efficiency. • Open to opportunities to cross train to support other ERP platforms. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with a focus on trusted people relationships and results. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceSalary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 a year
