Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Asheville, NC Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist Job Details: • Work varying weekend shifts (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule) • Patient ratios range from 10-25 patients • Float to all critical care units and floors throughout the facility • Work with specialized equipment including GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices • Use Cerner EMR system for documentation • Dress code requires medium gray/pewter scrubs • North Carolina Respiratory License required • Must be Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS • Preferred certification: NRP • Provide respiratory care for both adult service lines and NICU/pediatric service lines • Work in department with 120 staff members across day and night shifts Facility: This flagship healthcare facility is a 815-bed hospital that serves as the region's premier medical center.
