Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and own the global pricing strategy across the Waters Biosciences division, aligned with enterprise pricing principles and business objectives.Translate enterprise monetization goals into division‑level pricing actions and roadmaps.Drive initiatives that improve price realization, margin expansion, and revenue quality.Partner with regional pricing leaders to ensure consistent, disciplined execution across markets.Pricing Governance & Enterprise AlignmentEstablish and lead global pricing governance, including guardrails, approval authorities, escalation paths, and compliance.Partner with the Enterprise Pricing Leader to align on strategy, policies, and governance frameworks.Represent the division in enterprise pricing councils and cross‑functional governance forums.Price Adjustment & List Price OptimizationLead global list price optimization, including annual price increase planning and execution.Develop segmentation frameworks across products, customer groups, and regions.Monitor realization and adjust strategy to ensure pricing and profitability targets are met.New Product Introduction (NPI) PricingOwn pricing strategy for all new product launches within the division.Develop value‑based pricing models aligned with product positioning and customer value drivers.Embed pricing in stage‑gate processes in partnership with Product Management and Marketing.Deal Strategy & Commercial SupportProvide pricing guidance on complex, strategic, or high‑value deals.Partner with regional pricing teams to support deal structuring, bundling, and discount governance.Ensure alignment with enterprise guardrails and division profitability targets.Pricing Performance Management & AnalyticsLead global pricing performance management, including analysis of price realization, discounting behavior, margin impact, and competitive dynamics.Partner with the Enterprise Pricing Data Center to develop dashboards and analytics that enable transparency and accountability.Identify risks, opportunities, and action plans to improve performance.Market & Competitive InsightsMonitor global market and competitive pricing trends.Incorporate insights into pricing strategy to balance value capture with competitiveness.Conduct scenario modeling and financial impact assessments to inform pricing decisions.Cross‑Functional Leadership & CollaborationCollaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Commercial, Sales Operations, and Finance to align pricing with go‑to‑market strategy.Act as a global subject matter expert, sharing best practices, pricing methodologies, and strategic insights.Lead the global pricing committee and drive cross‑regional alignment.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.8–12+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, commercial operations, or finance within complex B2B or life sciences environments.Demonstrated experience leading global pricing initiatives, governance, or transformation programs.Proven track record of improving price realization, margin, or EBIT through pricing actions.Strong command of pricing analytics, value‑based pricing, discount management, and BI tools.Excellent financial acumen, including P&L understanding and profitability modeling.Ability to influence senior leadership and global stakeholders in a matrixed organization.Experience with pricing, contracting, or deal management tools (e.g., CPQ, pricing software) is a plus.Core CompetenciesStrategic thinker with strong business acumenAdvanced analytical and quantitative capabilitiesEffective influencer across global, matrixed teamsExecutive‑level communication and presentation skillsStrong collaboration and stakeholder managementAbility to balance long‑term strategy with operational executionReporting Structure
