Senior Paid Media Strategist: Scale Campaigns & ROAS
The Senior Paid Media Strategist leads the strategy, execution, and performance of paid acquisition campaigns across multiple client brands, driving measurable growth in pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition efficiency. This role requires deep expertise across major paid platforms and the ability to translate business objectives into high-performing, scalable campaign strategies.For highly qualified candidates this role has a clear path to Paid Media Director, with increasing ownership over team leadership, process development, and channel innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute paid media strategies aligned to client business goals and revenue targetsManage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other key platformsDesign full-funnel strategies across prospecting, retargeting, and conversion optimizationLead budget allocation decisions to maximize ROAS and CAC efficiencyCampaign Optimization & PerformanceAnalyze campaign performance and continuously optimize toward KPIs (CPL, CPA, ROAS, pipeline)Conduct structured testing across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pagesIdentify scaling opportunities and proactively adjust strategies based on performance trendsPartner with creative teams to develop high-performing ad concepts, messaging, and offersCollaborate on landing page strategy and CRO to improve conversion ratesEnsure alignment between ad messaging, user intent, and post-click experienceAnalytics & ReportingTranslate performance data into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal teamsBuild and maintain dashboards tied to business outcomes, not just platform metricsConnect paid media performance to CRM and pipeline metrics where possibleLead client communication, strategy discussions, and performance reviewsMaintain strong project management practices across multiple accounts (Asana, internal workflows)Set quality standards and ensure consistent execution across campaignsQualificationsRequired5+ years of experience in paid media strategy, ideally in an agency or multi-client environmentProven track record managing and scaling campaigns across B2B and B2C environmentsExperience working across SaaS, ecommerce, and/or multi-location service businessesStrong analytical mindset with ability to connect marketing performance to revenue outcomesExcellent communication skills with ability to present strategy and performance to clientsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and low tolerance for poor executionTools & TechnologyExperience with major paid platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio), and reporting platforms. Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency in research, creative iteration, and optimization while maintaining high-quality strategic output.
