This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands the data center ecosystem, has spent significant time working directly with hyperscalers, colocation providers, engineering firms, or critical infrastructure environments, and can translate customer needs into scalable product strategies.This individual will serve as a key bridge between customers, engineering, operations, and product development teams—bringing market insight, customer voice, and technical intuition into the product innovation process. The ideal candidate understands how modern data centers are evolving, including infrastructure trends driven by increased compute density, chip advancements, cooling demands, and operational scalability.This is a highly visible, customer-facing role requiring both strong technical credibility and exceptional interpersonal skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner directly with hyperscalers, enterprise customers, engineering firms, and data center operators to understand evolving infrastructure requirements and market trendsLead customer engagement efforts including executive briefings, onsite customer visits, witness testing, solution reviews, and strategic discussionsGather and synthesize Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to shape product roadmaps, standard offerings, and future innovation investmentsDefine and communicate market requirements for new and existing data center solutionsCollaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, operations, commercial teams, and product leadership to ensure solutions meet customer and market expectationsSupport customization efforts for strategic customer projects while balancing scalable product strategyServe as a product and market expert during customer evaluations and business development opportunitiesHelp shorten product discovery and decision-making cycles by applying deep industry intuition and customer understandingLead through ambiguity and rapid growth in a fast-paced, high-change environmentMentor and motivate cross-functional teams while driving alignment across complex initiativesRequired QualificationsSignificant experience within the data center industry, ideally supporting hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or mission-critical environmentsProven customer-facing experience working directly with data center operators, infrastructure teams, or strategic end usersStrong understanding of data center infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, or thermal environmentsExperience supporting large-scale data center builds, migrations, transformations, or infrastructure deploymentsDemonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into product or operational solutionsStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholdersAbility to thrive in dynamic, fast-growth environments with shifting priorities and high visibilityPreferred QualificationsExperience in product management, technical product leadership, solutions engineering, or strategic customer engagementBackground working with hyperscalers or engineering/consulting firms supporting data center infrastructureFamiliarity with thermal management systems, cooling infrastructure, chillers, power systems, or related critical infrastructure technologiesExperience influencing product roadmaps through customer and market insightsTrack record of innovation, creative problem-solving, and leading through ambiguityExperience managing cross-functional teams or leading highly collaborative initiatives
