If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLE\nTo coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities to achieve the highest level of quality, safetyand effectiveness to maximize equipment availability.\nRelocation assistance provided for candidates outside this area.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nFollow the rules and regulations defined by the company as well as legal requirements; support the elaboration of safety standards for their area, control releases and follow all environmental regulations.\nSystematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment.\nAnalysis of data collected, completed work orders, and process data in order to initiate appropriate maintenance work orders which include a detailed scope of work.\nNon-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents).\nFamiliar with precision maintenance technologies such as laser alignment and dynamic balancing.\nComfortable, at a hands on level, with welding techniques and practices for industrial equipment.\nDocument and monitor equipment history files.\nTracking, analysis, and recommendation for equipment performance, cost, and life.\nProviding direction to the maintenance and purchasing groups regarding technical purchases and equipment selection.\nEnsuring inventory and source of spare parts are consistent with plant equipment reliability and economic constraints.\nEnsure implementation of equipment modification and maintenance projects with respect to costs and schedule.\nDevelopment of long term equipment maintenance strategies.\nQuality Assurance of Execution work done on and off site, and of materials received.\nParticipate in and lead problem-solving task forces as required.\nImprove plant mechanical and infrastructure equipment in order to meet or exceed plant reliability and production targets.\nProvide technical support for plant activities and the maintenance functions.\nCoach/mentor plant employees.\nFollow up on completed work to ensure equipment operability and job site cleanliness.\nCommunication with pertinent operations departments.\nDeal with and find resolution to conflicts or problems in the maintenance department.\nPromotion of and participation in the plant safety program.\nThe Supervisor will give constructive feedback and coaching as required to maintain a high degree of professionalism within the group.\nDirecting of contractors in all areas of plant maintenance as required.\nPreparing and presenting information on upgrades and restrictions with operations group.\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR \nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent or 5-7 years of equivalent experienceAdditional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degreeField of Study Preferred: Industrial MaintenanceRequired Work Experience: 3 - 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or cement industry experienceAdditional Requirements:\n\nStrong communication skills (written and oral)\nStrong leadership skills\nWell organized\nAbility to prioritize and evaluate\nMust work well under pressure\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
