We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.Job Summary: This position will inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on various crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, knuckle booms, bucket trucks, etc.). Mechanical experience required with electrical and hydraulics. It is part of this role’s responsibility to help grow the business by identifying new opportunities and contributing to the development of customer relationships and market presence. The candidate should ensure they have read and understand the scope, job functions, and physical requirements needed for this role.Candidates will be required to take a skill assessment as part of the interview/hiring process.Key ResponsibilitiesA minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defectsDemonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systemsExamines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gaugesReads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawingsTests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specificationsPrepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completenessCapable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervisionMaintain conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulationsProperly fills out working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, hour’s overviews, work orders, and other company and customer paperwork in a timely and efficient mannerMust complete expense reports in timely manner as dictated by the company policyExceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to work overtime as well as on weekends is a plus. Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs.
