Parts Attendant - Ross Plant Anticipated Wage: $26.13/hrThis position is on Day Shift: 6:30am to 3pmSummary:To issue parts and supplies for Production and Maintenance departments. Provide data entry in support of inventory and maintenance computer systems. Issue parts to all mechanics. Receive and ship inventory as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adjust inventory levels in Movex. Input and issue parts and data from work orders into Movex.Essential Functions:All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices.It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action.This is a representative sample--not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks.Maintain Inventories; Shipping and Receiving Materials:Determine correct parts and supply levelsOrganize, label, and maintain parts room layout and shelvingMaintain inventory levelsUse movex to track inventory levelsCheck stock to determine inventory levelsAnticipate needed materialsPlace and expedite orders for materialsVerify the receipt of materials, checking merchandise for damage and verifying freight billsData Entry into Movex:Using a computer to Input retro work orders into MovexIssue parts to work ordersUsing a computer to Input data generated from inspection checklists into work requestsInput scheduled work orders and service definitionsPrint work ordersMaintain accurate work list and work order binsCommunicate Effectively:Exchange information with co-workers and managementResearch parts and equipment for proper applicationAnswer questionsInput and generate dataComplete formsComplete Paperwork:Review "Purchase Requests" and follow-up on any discrepancies with the appropriate personsReceive parts and compare packing lists to parts receivedUtilize Tools and Equipment:Drive company vehicles to pick up parts from local vendorsUse computer system to maintain inventoryUse standard office equipment as needed (copy and fax machines, etc.)Keep parts office and room clean and follow GMP'sMaintain Master Stock of Items and Historical Reference of Supplies, Equipment, and Services:Update specification filesMaintain Shipping and Receiving Materials:Check stock to determine inventory levelAnticipate needed materialsVerify the receipt of materials, checking merchandise for damage and verifying freight billsProvide Information:Answer questionsInput and generate dataComplete formsContribute to Team Effort:Accomplishing related results as neededProduce Information:Input, edit, and retrieve text and dataMake copiesFill Item Requests:Identify items requestedIssue parts from stockVerify customer requestsComplete Purchase Requests:Check and verify specifications and inventoryCode and complete request formsObtain supervisor approvalLock-Out Tag-Out:Make sure to have a complete and clear understanding of all Lock-out Tag-out proceduresUse proper Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures at all times (washing/cleaning machinery, etc.)Maintain Safe and Clean Working Environment:Comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsMaintain a Clean, Safe Work Area:Sweep floors and remove debrisKeep work area clean and rinse when necessaryFollow proper cleaning procedures:Follow proper handling procedures when working with chemicalsMaintains area of responsibility to meet GMP standardsFollow LOTO (lock out/ tag out) procedures when necessaryQualification Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or GED required. Computer skill required knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic understanding of a CMMS program and running a parts room.Language Skills:Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Washington State Driver's LicensePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and smell.
