Senior Estimator Restoration / Existing StructuresDirect Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades Location: DeLand, FL (Primary) Region: East Region, Florida Travel: Frequent regional travel Compensation: $100,000$125,000 base salary + bonus Role OverviewSuperior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for restoration projects involving concrete repair, waterproofing, and building envelope systems. This role requires full ownership of the estimating process, close collaboration with sales and operations, and frequent interaction with engineers, property managers, and condominium/HOA stakeholders. This is a key leadership role for an estimator who understands the complexities of restoration work and thrives in dynamic, field-driven project environments. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end estimating for restoration and existing-structure projects Review drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and investigative scopes Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop comprehensive estimates Prepare estimate spreadsheets and pricing models Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to secure pricing, discounts, and product recommendations Participate in bid strategy development, value engineering, and risk assessment Interact directly with external stakeholders, including: Engineering firms Property management companies HOAs and condominium associations Support relationship development through networking, trade organizations, and industry events Assist with project handoff and provide estimating support during project execution Required Experience & Qualifications7+ years of estimating experience in commercial constructionProven experience with restoration, concrete repair, building envelope, or specialty constructionAbility to independently own estimates with minimal oversightStrong collaboration skills across sales and operations teamsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExperience working in the Florida construction market strongly preferredStrongly Preferred ExperienceConcrete restoration estimating backgroundExperience estimating work on occupied buildingsFamiliarity with engineering-driven scopes, investigations, and reportsWhy This OpportunityThis is a direct hire leadership role offering strong compensation, bonus potential, and the chance to lead complex restoration projects across Florida's East Region.
