Account Executive I

Job Description:The Account Executive I (AEI) will be responsible for a myriad of things including but not limited to; acting as a Brand ambassador, encouraging the adoption and use of Americo products with Distribution Partners and Agents when suitable for the consumer, preparing and giving sales presentations, problem solving and relationship management, travel, understanding and awareness of the competitive landscape, and to support the needs of the Business as needed.The AEI will travel as needed which could be in excess of 50% of the time. The AEI will also participate in and, at times, be responsible for the development and execution of a business plan. The AEI will also be responsible for monitoring production and agent behavior to make sure Americo policies and business procedures are being followedJob Responsibilities:Serve as liaison between IMO and / or Agent and Americo. This includes managing relationships - horizontally and vertically within partner functional departments, problem solving, reporting, goal setting, business planning and execution, and more.Proactively lead sales by initiate field meetings with IMO and their agents to educate them on Americo products and services with both formal and informal sales presentationsMaintain thorough knowledge of Americo products, services and procedures to support IMO's.Monitor production of IMO to identify sales trends and opportunities relative to products and VNBParticipate in the development and implementation of IMO sales plans and obtain production commitmentParticipate and conduct training sessions for other departments within the companyAdhere to departmental budget constraintsProvide information on market trends and competitors to VP Sales and CMOAct as an Americo Brand AmbassadorExperience and Qualifications:Sales experience, prospecting, outside sales, account management etc.Ongoing knowledge of Americo Products and services and how they can be used to increase salesUnderstanding of the competitive landscape and how Americo products distinguish themselvesBasic understanding of financial planning concepts and the application of those concepts to various consumer needs and objectivesBasic understanding of tax, suitability, compliance, regulatory, and statutory guidelines applicable to the product lineStrong understanding of Annuity and Life products.Strong grasp of the Distribution landscape for Annuity and Life products.In-depth understanding of each IMOs method of operation, product distribution, lead generation, agent recruiting and compensationExcellent interpersonal and communications skills, written and oral, for effective, self confident, interaction with all levels of company personnel and external partnersSelf-starter who can initiate activity and handle multiple priorities in order to achieve goals and objectivesPersuasive and convincing presentation skillsEducation:Bachelor's Degree
