Hours of Work :0500-1730, variableDays Of Week :M-F, variableWork Shift :Job Description :Job Purpose* The Patient Care Technician under the direction of the professional staff, assists with patient care to provide support to the patient, nursing unit and professional staff.Job Requirements:Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility OrGraduate from a certified nursing assistant program OrCertified Medical Assistant program OrNursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program OrDocumented military experience as a medic/corpsman OrForeign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S OrEMT Certification/Paramedic LicenseLicenses and/or Certifications:* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, RequiredMethodist Southlake Medical Center is a 54-bed, acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas.
