Job SummaryAssembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes work area setupFits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standardsOperates hand tools as required to complete the assembly processStacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished productEnsures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operateCompletes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concernsMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentMaintains production records as requiredChecks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standardsPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetingsPerforms other duties as assigned QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED preferred but not requiredNo minimum experience is required however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferredWorking knowledge of basic math preferredMust be at least 18 years of ageCompensation & Benefit Information:Hourly/Salary Pay Range: ($XX,XXX - $XXX,XXX annually) OR ($18.00/ $19.00 hour) dependent on experience**pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of livingBonus/Incentive Pay (only include one from the list below based on the job):1. For sales positions: The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on the customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.2. For salaried bonus positions: Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.3. For hourly positions with incentive pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.
