PostgreSQL DBA Hybrid - Woodland, MD Long Term Required Skills: Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace. All other duties as assigned or directed. Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. Proven experience with PostgreSQL Community Excellent communication and written skills. Senior Level knowledge of PostgreSQL Community Edition. Senior Level knowledge of PostgreSQL recovery and high availability. Strong experience installing, maintaining, and documenting PG in an RedHat Linux environment. Experience with Edition Excellent communication and written skills. Senior Level knowledge of PostgreSQL Community Edition. Senior Level knowledge of PostgreSQL recovery and high availability. Strong experience installing, maintaining, and documenting PG in an RedHat Linux environment. Experience with GIT/BitBucket, Jira, and Confluence or similar tools Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Understanding of database techniques and best practices. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration. Experience with Ansible automation and best practices. Proven work in DevOps Environment. Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology.
