Manages and maintains corporate relationships and contract renewal with established Public Sector customers across designated territory. Owns quarterly engagement with senior customer leadership and engaged in Qtrly CIR's</span></span></p><h3><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></h3><ul><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Develops and presents <em>strategy</em> for geographic territory – leveraging both existing and new customer opportunities to achieve growth goals.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Tailors' strategic plans to position MSC's value while aligning to customer goals</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Drives sales at all Public Sector account customer facilities within their assigned regions.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Prepares and delivers sales presentations that address the customers' needs, and leads to sales growth within established, and new Public Sector accounts.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Works with Public Sector Account Management Team to deliver MSC's Public Sector program and strategic initiatives message to all Public Sector customers as well as internal MSC stakeholders.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Works with Sales Operations team and Customers to develop appropriate pricing strategy for bid/quote opportunities to determine MSC's ability to comply with customers' needs and requirements relative to the potential Bid/Quote.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Develops relationships with key Public Sector agencies within their region to become focal point for customer contact and MSC contact for customers visits, tradeshows, Lunch & Learns, etc.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information of all Public Sector accounts within the assigned region, to create a business plan of growth.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Represents Public Sector sales team in all cross-functional initiatives.</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Connects sales teams with manufacturers and technical experts that lead customers to the right products</span></span><li><span style="font-size: 16.0px;"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Subject Matter Expert (SME) to other sellers within the geographic territory. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity.
