Social Media Specialist (In-Office Required - Baltimore.This is an in-office position. Candidates must be based within proximity to the Baltimore office.The Social Media Specialist is part of the largest dedicated real estate marketing agency in the country, supporting Coldwell Banker Realty, the Coldwell Banker brand and its franchise network, as well as special Compass International Holdings marketing initiatives.This role sits at the intersection of content creation, brand storytelling, and business growth. You will play a key role in driving recruiting, retention, and brand perception through high-impact social media strategies and content execution.We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented social media specialist who understands how to produce content that not only looks exceptional-but performs.What You'll DoCreate high-quality, platform-native content (photo, video, graphics) that is visually compelling, on-brand, and designed to drive engagement and business resultsEdit video in a way that aligns with modern social media trends and performance standards (short-form, hook-driven, retention-focused)Grow and manage regional Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages by consistently delivering exceptional, engaging, and performance-driven contentSource, develop, and publish localized content that highlights community involvement, culture, and brand presenceCapture and produce content from in-person events, including on-site coverage and post-event recap assetsSupport onboarding, recruiting, and agent engagement efforts through strategic social media storytellingPartner with Regional Presidents and senior leadership to elevate their personal social media presence to support recruiting and brand positioningFacilitate agent recognition and achievement content to celebrate success and build communityCollaborate closely with Field Marketing Directors and local leadership on high-impact initiatives aligned with regional strategy and cultureAlign all content with national brand standards while tailoring execution to local marketsEngage with audiences in real time, participating in relevant conversations and representing the brand in a thoughtful, professional mannerPartner with PR teams to amplify publicity, events, and philanthropic initiatives across social channelsAnalyze performance metrics and deliver monthly reporting with actionable insights to continuously improve resultsDevelop and deliver agent education through presentations, decks, and clear, engaging storytelling that simplifies social media concepts and drives adoptionWhat Success Looks LikeContent that feels modern, elevated, and distinctly on-brandStrong engagement and audience growth across local channelsMeaningful contribution to recruiting and retention effortsConsistent execution across multiple markets with attention to detailAbility to operate independently while managing multiple deadlines and prioritiesRequirements2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital mediaProven experience creating and editing high-performing social media content, especially short-form videoProficiency in video editing and design tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar), with a strong ability to produce high-quality, platform-native content that aligns with current social media trends and drives engagementStrong understanding of platform strategy and best practices across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedInExperience managing and publishing content across regional or multi-location social media accounts, including featured listings, PR hits, agent recognition, and company announcementsExceptional writing, editing, and communication skillsExperience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet fast-paced deadlines with minimal supervisionExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersComfortable supporting both virtual and in-person training or presentationsReal estate or agency experience is a plusBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferredAdditional InformationThis role requires in-office collaboration and occasional local event attendanceCandidates should be highly adaptable, proactive, and solutions-orientedA strong creative eye and understanding of what performs on social media is essentialPlease include a link to your portfolio in your resume or application.
