Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION A System Specialist will provide world class leadership for high-profile orders and high-end service support with installations, startups, commissioning and testing, scheduled and emergency services on Precision Cooling Products. The SS is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate. The SS is also required to maintain continuous communication with CRC, Area/District Offices, and direct manager.ResponsibilitiesROLERelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish work related goalsPerform a extensive amount of extremely difficult and challenging work related tasksRequires no direct supervision while leading and directing othersSupport start-up and commissioning activities for assigned projectsEnsure sufficient man-power on site each day to perform start-up and site testing workAssist during start-up and commissioning as necessary, depending upon man-power availability and site locationMonitor start-ups for timely completion, work with sales rep and District Manager on providing quotes for additional services not paid for, or excess labor requirements resulting from delays beyond Service controlMonitor start-ups for timely completion, work with sales rep and District Manager on providing quotes for additional services not paid for, or excess labor requirements resulting from delays beyond Service controlProvide first level of tech support assistance to speed up problem resolutionProvide daily status reports to Service management and sales repTECHNICALRender on site and phone assistance to customers.Communicate with appropriate Technical Support/Engineering on equipment issuesProvides Technical Support on-site or via Telephone to CE’sAssist contractors as required during installation and commissioning of assigned projectsProvides OJT to CE’s on various types of equipment in the fieldImplement Field Change Notices (FCN) according to published guidelinesKeep current on Safety Bulletins, Field Change Notices, and Service TipsSAFETYOperate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelinesMust wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job dutiesAdhere to work hours policy guidelines – “14 hours rule”Report all work related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel.ADMINISTRATIONProvide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines;Time cards, expense reports, mileage reports, ticket closure, forms, et al.Provide Time and Material quotes for customers or contractors for assigned projects, as necessaryProvide estimated time of arrival to the Customer Response Center (CRC) where applicableAssist with scheduling by working within the guidelinesDelegate team tasks as neededMaintain company property according to company policies;Vehicle, credit cards, PPE, test equipment, laptop, pager, cell phone, et al. CUSTOMER SATISFACTIONProvide proper and adequate communication to internal and external customersProvide estimated time of arrival to the customer where applicableStrive to provide all customers a “first time fix” for their equipmentMaintain customer satisfaction rates according to company guidelinesAttend Customer/Contractor Meetings as requiredPERFORMANCEMaximize productivity by combining service opportunitiesComplete all work in an efficient and timely mannerCapable of making technical and commercial decisions under pressureProperly evaluate site and equipment for appropriate billing statusMaintain productive utilization rate according to company guidelinesPerform inventory cycle counts according to company guidelinesAdhere to company dress code and safety regulationsUnderstand and comply with company startup/escalation processes and procedures In all aspects of job requirements, must lead by example, and conduct themselves in a higher standard.
