Must be flexible to work outside standard business hours as needed.Contract Duration: 6-12 months, with likely extensionPay Rate: $91.85/hour (w2)Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months, with likely extension Position OverviewWe are supporting an on demand autonomous ride hailing company in hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead sensor cleaning programs and drive cross functional execution across engineering, product, operations, and supplier teams.This role is responsible for managing complex hardware development programs from planning through execution. The Technical Program Manager will coordinate project schedules, manage risks, oversee supplier deliverables, track milestones, and communicate program status to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex technical programs supporting sensor cleaning systems from concept through delivery.Translate business objectives into detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Drive cross functional collaboration across hardware, software, firmware, systems engineering, safety, product, operations, and external suppliers.Manage supplier relationships, ensuring technical requirements, development milestones, validation activities, and deliverables remain on schedule.Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, KPIs, and executive status reports.Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution across multiple teams.Coordinate meetings, document action items, and maintain organized program documentation.Support technical decision making by evaluating tradeoffs and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.Contribute to process improvements, quarterly planning, performance metrics, and program management best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 8 years of professional experience.At least 5 years of technical program management experience leading complex engineering programs.Minimum 3 years of hands on hardware product development experience.Proven success managing cross functional engineering programs from initiation through delivery.Experience managing international suppliers and external development partners.Strong project planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office.Experience with Polarion requirements management software is preferred.Preferred QualificationsPMP certification or equivalent project management certification.Experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, aerospace, or robotics.Experience with hardware development involving electronics, pneumatic systems, or hydraulic systems.Interview Process30 minute Zoom interview with the Hiring Manager.90 minute onsite panel interview.
