Our mission is to become the most trusted name in Medicaid-focused care through deep collaborations with Medicaid agencies and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Louisville, KY, for a Senior IT Project Manager who will serve as the internal owner of Freedom's technology delivery and managed services partnership. Freedom runs an outsourced IT model. A managed service provider (MSP) delivers infrastructure, help desk, and security operations, and this role is the single point of internal accountability for that relationship and for the IT projects that depend on it.The immediate priority is to lead the transition from the incumbent MSP to a newly selected provider, including a clean transfer of Microsoft 365 tenant and Global Administrator control, knowledge transfer, and decommissioning of legacy access. From there, the role governs MSP performance and leads the IT components of enterprise initiatives across a multi-site, multi-state Medicaid environment, in close partnership with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and HR.Compensation & Benefits$110,000-$140,000 base salary commensurate with experience.Exempt position.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and company holidays.Professional development supportKey ResponsibilitiesLead the MSP transition end to end: onboarding the new provider, transferring tenant and Global Admin control, retiring incumbent access, and confirming continuity of clinical billing and EVV with no disruption.Own the ongoing MSP relationship. Govern SLAs, run the operating cadence, manage escalations, and validate invoices and help-desk hour banks against actual usage. Hold the MSP accountable to scope and quality.Lead IT delivery for enterprise projects, including the Sage Intacct/ NetSuite ERP rollout, the Microsoft 365 and identity environment, and support and consolidation of the billing and EVV platforms (Therap, Alora, HHAeXchange, Sandata).Manage the IT side of entity and directory work, including email-domain and identity consolidation tied to legal-entity rationalization.Stand up and standardize IT at new and transitioning sites, including new-state launches, entity consolidations, and acquisition tuck-ins.Partner with Compliance to maintain HIPAA safeguards, access and exclusion controls, audit readiness, and overall security posture across roughly 20 sites and 150 to 180 supported staff users.Maintain the IT project portfolio, budgets, and roadmap. Report status, risks, and decisions to executive leadership in clear, operator-level terms.Basic QualificationsFive or more years leading IT projects, including at least one full MSP transition or managed-services onboarding.Demonstrated vendor and MSP governance, including SLA management, contract and invoice oversight, and ownership of escalations.Strong systems-integration background across business applications and infrastructure (Microsoft 365, identity and access, networking). Software development experience is not required.Proven delivery of multi-site, multi-state IT projects with attention to regulatory compliance and quality assurance.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into executive decisions and to hold vendors accountable.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.PreferredHealthcare experience, with familiarity with HIPAA, multi-site clinical operations, and Medicaid, HCBS, or MCO environments.Experience managing technology through periods of growth, integration, or private-equity-backed transformation.PMP certification
